You will notice an unusually heavy rigging for the women's LW2x. The article does mention this aberration but doesn't really explain why. I'm also still not clear on the roll span plays in this equation. I've read some things that say that a 1 cm. change in span can affect the load similarly to 3 cm. change in outboard. Dr. Kleshneve seems to vehemently deny that fact ( Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any such charts (as above) that mention boat span. If anyone has any more questions, or better yet, answers, please let me know.
