I'm also still not clear on the roll span plays in this equation. I've read some things that say that a 1 cm. change in span can affect the load similarly to 3 cm. change in outboard. Dr. Kleshneve seems to vehemently deny that fact ( Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any such charts (as above) that mention boat span. If anyone has any more questions, or better yet, answers, please let me know.
